Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana

A couple of days ago one of my clients asked me when I would be sending out my next newsletter. It was at that exact moment I realised that it's been just over a year since I last sent out a newsletter to you all! That's ridiculous!! Where did that time go?!?

So here we are, I thought I'd better touch base with you all and catch you up on what's going on here at Tonefinder.

Suffice to say it's been a busy year. And the rest of 2019 is looking crammed too. The main highlight is that Caroline and I are getting married on September 14th. Thankfully, Caroline to organising the bulk of the big day, something I'm incredibly grateful for. It's shaping up to be a fantastic day and looking at the guest list, Stansted House won't know what has hit it.

Highlight number two for this year is that we're moving. Don't panic, it's only just up the road from where I'm based now but as you probably know, I've outgrown my current location. Our new home has a large garage which I'm currently converting into a workshop. I'll probably produce a blog about the conversion at some point but the main priority is making it safe and secure.

I can't help but look back on the growth of Tonefinder since starting it back in 2014. Having worked on not only my own gear but friends and family kit too for as long I can remember, taking the plunge to ignite the flame under my own little business working on a small round glass table in the kitchen of Caroline and I's first (tiny) one bedroom flat that we'd only just recently moved in to. It was a step into the unknown. We quickly ran out of space so the move was made to where we currently are. And now, thanks to you and your continued, & very much valued business, we find ourselves upgrading again. It's a nice problem to have.

If all goes according to plan, the impact on service will be minimal/non-existent. I'll update the website with the new address for the workshop when I've 100% moved in.

In the meantime, if you need any help with your guitar(s) & amps etc or if you're looking for custom wound pickups and boutique FX pedals then please give me a shout.

I'll try not to leave it another year this time.

Stay frosty!
